The cutting rail pivots open to allow you to easily insert your project, as well as locks down for safe transport. The integrated paper clamp allows you to hold your paper in place while keeping your fingers from touching your project and potentially smudging it. New permanent anti-wear veneer has the 1/16-inch scale and 1/4-inch by 1-inch grid printed from the bottom side so they never wear off.
